The Black-Hawks defeated the Mountain View Wildcats Tuesday 11-1 at Brooke Point. Pitcher Evan Houde allowed only 3 hits while striking out 5 to earn his fifth win of the season.
Third baseman J.J. McDaniel (2-2) had two hits including a home run. Catcher Travis Cole (1-1) also homered for the Hawks. A roundup of the rest of Brooke Point’s offense follows: first baseman Andrew Tyree (2-2); second baseman David Dilegge, outfielder Ryan Carder, and shortstop Chris Denno (all 1-3); outfielder Gary Pissall (1-2), outfielder Drew Bell and pinch hitter Brandon Gonzales (both 1-1).
