The Black-Hawks opened the Commonwealth District playoffs with an impressive win last night against the visiting Indians 9-2. Andrew Tyree pitched a complete game and notched his fifth consecutive win while allowing only 4 hits.
Third baseman J.J. McDaniel hit a two-run homerun in the fourth inning and finished the night 3-for-4 with five RBIs and two runs scored. It was McDaniel's fifth homer of the season.
First baseman David Dilegge went 3-for-4 with two doubles, three runs scored and two RBIs while right fielder Gary Pisall went 2-for-2 with two runs scored. Brooke Point will host Mountain View on Tuesday, at 6 p.m., in the District semifinals.
